Omsk is home to more than a million individuals, making it the seventh largest city in Russia. It is the administrative center of Omsk Oblast, just southwest of Siberia, and is considered to be the republic’s center of economic activity. Nonetheless, the city has not been spared from ills of poverty, with thousands of young children ending up in orphanages that cannot provide sufficient care, nourishment and guidance. Allies works to fill the gap for these children and young teens, letting them feel the merciful love of Christ and exemplifying a life lived in Him.
