South Ossetia

A war-torn area north of Georgia, South Ossetia has experienced great economic and spiritual trouble. They are not recognized as a country by most of the world and experience traumatic poverty. After the 91-92 South Ossetia War, the population has dwindled to only 50,000 people and only a few businesses are still operational.

We work in the capital of South Ossetia, Tskhinvali.
