That’s how many chances orphans get to take a university entrance exam – and find a better life. Nearly half of orphans who do not attend university end up homeless, and involved in crime, drugs and human trafficking. Allies provides education, training and opportunities to orphans that can form a solid foundation for their success.
Mentors help orphans prepare for entrance exams required by professional schools and universities. Online tutoring helps them master the critical subjects.
Items such as clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and toys are collected in the US and shipped to the volunteer mentors to give to the orphans during their monthly visits to support AMP initiatives.
Allies offers financial assistance to adoptive families, single mothers, and special needs orphans who are aging out of the system.
Within three years, Allies is aiming to realize growth plans in order train more in-country volunteers and serve even more orphans.
With the additional space, Allies can greatly increase programs that will, in turn, greatly enhance the lives of orphans we currently serve and those that are waiting.
A properly funded endowment means that Allies in Youth Development can help orphans for generations.
