The Hard Truth

  • Eastern Europe has more orphans today than after World War II.
  • Only one out of ten Eastern European orphans becomes a functional member of society.
  • Most Eastern European orphans are lost to drugs, crime, trafficking and suicide.
  • Millions of Eastern European children are on the run living on the streets or in underground sewers desperately needing basic food, medicine and clothes.
  • Of those orphans registered in the state database, more than 160,000 children are waiting to be adopted.

Allies is working hard to change these stats and bring hope to children. We invite you to consider how you can get involved in our important mission.
