Allies Honors Life of Ukraine Regional Leader After Becoming a Victim of Covid

We are saddened to announce the passing of a great advocate for orphans and leader of Allies in Ukraine, Viktoria Melnichenko, who passed away at the end of October due to Covid. Viktoria battled Covid for a numbers of days before being put into intensive care where she remained for two days before passing.

Viktoria opened several new areas for Allies and her son, Daniel, is our leader in Kryviy Rih. She had such a big heart for orphaned children and did everything possible to brighten their lives. She even created her own trainings for the orphanage caregivers, to educate them and provide better care for the children. She was also mentoring the adopted families on how to help the children and was an influence in the building of those new relationships.

She was a great host when we visited her city last summer. She was so optimistic, full of energy and had wonderful plans for the future.

We honor Viktoria for her wonderful years of service to those in need. We will always remember her and know her positive influence will be felt for generations to come.
