About Allies in Youth Development

Allies in Youth Development is a nonprofit organization serving orphaned and vulnerable children in 92 countries worldwide through relationship-based mentorship, life skills education, and humanitarian aid.


We believe every child deserves a consistent, caring adult in their life.
Not every child can be adopted — but every child can be mentored.


Through the Allies Mentoring Program (AMP), trained in-country volunteers visit children monthly in orphanages and community centers – building meaningful relationships while providing encouragement, practical guidance, and hope for a brighter future.

The Allies Mentoring Program

  • Personal safety & human trafficking prevention
  • Goal setting
