Bringing Hope and Support to Foster Families in Poland

In Poland, a remarkable woman Allies Supports, named Lyuba, is raising eight children, continuing her lifelong commitment to fostering vulnerable youth. Over the years, she has cared for 21 children, and in the midst of the war, eight more children joined her home. However, these are not easy cases. Some of the boys she cares for have had run-ins with the law, repeatedly stealing from stores and struggling to stay on the right path.

Despite the challenges, Lyuba works tirelessly with specialists, educators, and the school administration to provide these boys with the guidance they need. She holds onto the hope that they will choose a better path for themselves. The eldest boy has already been offered a place in a juvenile correctional facility, and a commission has decided that one of the younger boys should join him. These decisions weigh heavily on Lyuba’s heart, as she doesn’t want the boys to be separated from the family, but their continued truancy and theft make the situation difficult.

Lyuba remains steadfast in her belief that through prayers and support, these boys can turn their lives around. Her dedication to them is a testament to the power of love, even in the face of difficult circumstances. She continues to support them with compassion, hoping that her unwavering care will help them grow into better versions of themselves.

Another child in Lyuba’s care is Tetyana, a bright and talented young girl who has been part of the foster family since she was very young. Now facing new challenges, Tetyana’s transition to a Polish school has been tough. With different teachers, new classmates, and the changes that come with being in a foster home with more children, Tetyana is struggling to adjust.

Recently, Tetyana’s mother has noticed worrying behavior. Quietly, Tetyana has been taking money from home and spending it at the store, causing concern. She is working closely with a psychologist to address these behaviors, and the family is doing everything they can to help her through this difficult time. Tetyana needs extra attention and care as she navigates these new challenges.

We ask for your prayers and support for Tetyana as she works through this tough phase in her life. With the right care and attention, we are hopeful that she will overcome these struggles and emerge stronger on the other side.

The stories of Lyuba and Tetyana remind us of the immense challenges faced by foster families, especially during times of crisis. Through programs like Allies in Youth Development, we can provide the emotional, educational, and spiritual support that children like Tetyana and the boys in Lyuba’s care so desperately need.

Your continued support helps make this work possible. Together, we can offer these children a chance for a brighter future and ensure that foster parents like Lyuba are not walking this path alone.
