Kind Hearts and Big Dreams

We thank the Lord for the good weather and for all the children who joined our AMP gathering in Cuartero, Philippines. Everyone learned about the beauty of hospitality through kindness, respect, and serving from the heart. The children had fun coloring pages, making welcome cards, and joining role plays that showed what true hospitality looks like. Laughter, songs, and snacks filled the day, reminding us that joy grows when shared. We are grateful to Allies for their love and support. To God be the glory.

This month, we celebrate Lady Brigette, our Volunteer of the Month. She is a kind and dedicated high school student with a heart full of love for children. At only 13 years old, she was diagnosed with high blood pressure caused by PCOS and now takes daily medicine. Doctors told her to slow down and avoid tiring activities, but her passion for serving others never faded. Instead of stepping back, she chose to step forward and help in AMP. Her smile, patience, and care show her true heart for ministry. She is thankful to be part of AMP, and we are even more thankful to have her. Her life reminds us that serving God and others comes not from strength alone, but from love and commitment.

We also met Mak-mak, a bright and cheerful nine-year-old boy with a big dream and an even bigger heart. Since he was little, his grandparents have lovingly raised him and cared for him like their own son. His mother, who became a parent at a young age, also stays close, guiding him and cheering him on. Mak-mak dreams of becoming an engineer one day. Not for fame or money, but because he wants to rebuild their old house and give his family a stronger home. His story is a beautiful picture of love and hope — a family supporting each other through every season. We believe God has a special plan for this young boy, and one day, we hope to see him build something strong and lasting, just like his faith and determination.
