Learning to Love and Live Right in Yangon, Myanmar

In Yangon, Myanmar, children gathered for a lesson centered on a simple but meaningful idea: loving God and living the right way. Through stories, questions, and shared moments, they began to understand that love is not just something we say, but something we show through kindness, respect, and the way we treat others. The room was filled with energy as the children listened, answered, and shared their thoughts. What stood out most was their willingness to learn and be part of the conversation.

As the lesson continued, it became clear that the children were not just listening, but taking the message to heart. They spoke about helping their friends, making good choices, and caring for others. One child shared that loving God means being kind even when it is difficult. Another said that knowing God loves them gives them the courage to do what is right. These small reflections showed a deeper understanding that is beginning to grow in their daily lives.

For the volunteers, the experience was just as meaningful. They were reminded that their role is not only to teach, but to guide and encourage by example. Seeing the children respond with honesty and openness brought a sense of purpose and gratitude. With the continued support that makes gatherings like this possible, children in Myanmar are learning values that shape how they live, treat others, and face challenges with faith and hope.
