There is definitely a problem in Eastern Europe, but it's not an unsolvable one.

We want to break the cycle of abandonment and teach children how to be productive, healthy members of their society. We want to tell them that they are someone. We want to tell them that they are loved by God. We want to show them role models that will teach them how to live good lives.

When I had my son, Daniel, I was both very happy and sad because at the same time, I also lost my mom. I became a mother and mother-less at the same time. I feel kind of like those orphans sometimes. And it breaks my heart.

But, I believe that through mentorship and love, we can change lives in Eastern Europe.
