The second quarter of 2022 has been a busy one for Allies leaders and volunteers. Allies teams were excited to launch Allies Mentoring Programs (AMP) in Peru and Germany in April, and thenin Tbilisi, Georgia in May.

The first visit with Georgian volunteers and orphaned children was a blast. Five local volunteers and over 100 children from the orphanage attended our first event.

CEO Chris Burgin and International Director of Operations Dr. Tatiana Baeva are stopping in for a visit in June. “We look forward to empowering our new volunteers there and spending more time with them in June!” exclaimed Dr. Baeva.

Also, despite the war, Allies began working with more orphanages inside Ukraine. Children in the cities ofZlochev and Khotov-Prilukihave been adopted by Allies. In April Allies provided humanitarian aid to 76 children in Khotov-Prilukiand plans to implement its Mentoring Program with them.

Allies is also continuing its programs with a group of Ukrainian children and volunteers currently evacuated to Sweden.

Allies has plans to expand AMP to additional countries in the fall. Romania, Armenia, Tanzania and Kenya are among the list of countries it is exploring.
