Growing in Faith in Paraguay

In Minga Guazú, Paraguay, volunteers continue to walk alongside children at a local orphanage through the “Campamento Bíblico de Niños Creciendo en Cristo.” For them, this work is not just an activity; it is a calling. They see teaching children about faith, gratitude, and kindness as an important responsibility. Through projects like the “Love Project,” children are encouraged to share messages of respect and Christian values, choosing peace over violence in their daily lives.

One volunteer has noticed clear changes in the children over time. He shared the story of a nine-year-old boy who accepted Jesus as his savior through the program. The boy now speaks about Jesus as a close friend who is always with him, even at night. His joy is simple but real. Moments like these show how deeply the lessons are reaching young hearts.

The recent Gratitude Congress also left a strong impression. The children learned that gratitude is not just a word but a daily choice. Since then, many have begun praying before meals and at bedtime. They are showing more respect toward one another and building stronger friendships. These may seem like small steps, but they reflect meaningful growth.

The volunteers are thankful to be part of this journey and grateful for the support that makes it possible. Because of that support, children in Paraguay are learning values that will guide them for years to come. They are discovering faith, gratitude, and the steady presence of a community that cares for them.
