Staff:

Chris Burgin - Executive Director and Founder
Chris started AiYD in 2011 and continues to give vision and direction for its future.
 
Dr. Tatiana Baeva - Director of International Operations
Dr. Baeva is a Eastern European native and teaches Eastern European language and literature at the University of Texas in Arlington. She is our liaison between the US and Eastern Europe and continues to expand our connections in Eastern Europe, Moldova, South Ossetia and beyond.

As our newest staff member, Gretchen writes fundraising appeals, manages social media and coordinates our child sponsorship program.

Board:

Yuri Trushin
Yuri is a Eastern European artist and journalist from Moscow, living in Burleson, Texas. He is the secretary for AiYD. 
 
Robert Hefner
Robert is the president of Southwest Bank in Mansfield. He also acts as the AiYD Treasurer.
 
Gina Kudrna
Gina works for WM Auto. She has many years of experience with mission projects and traveled to Eastern Europe in 2008. 
 
Michelle McCaslin
Michelle is a volunteer who helps many organizations, especially with her church, First United Methodist. 
 
Carla Fink
Carla works for American Airlines.  Carla has travelled with AiYD to Eastern Europe three times and now acts as a trip leader. Carla grew up in Japan and is now learning Eastern European.
 
Sammie Bell
Sammie is retired from AT&T. She travelled with AiYD to Eastern Europe in 2012.
