How Can We Stay Indifferent?
April 22, 2015
This week, we received a letter from a 23 year old Moldovan medical student named Ruslan. His words rang in our ears and stopped us in our tracks. His perspective reminded us why we're doing this in the first place. Here's what he had to say:
I am part of this ministry {Allies in Youth Development} because the destiny of these children matters to me. I completely understand the impact that being without even one parent in a family can have. I, myself, grew up without a father. I want to help these children feel the love of God, the love that I have experienced myself. I want to share my friendship with them, and tell them about God. They need the Lord, and they need us, as friends and people who are ready to listen to them and help them. If we are in a position to do this, can we really continue to be indifferent?
We're working hard over here to not stay indifferent. What can you do today to change someone's life, to brighten their day or to make this world a better place? Tell us on Facebook. We would love to hear!
