Allies To Travel to Sports Summer Camp

Leaders of Allies and U.S. volunteers will be visiting and participating in a sports camp in Voronezh, Russia May 19 through 30 to help model volunteerism with our Russian university partners. The camp will host over 500 institutionalized children. Each year more than 1,500 children attend summer camps that teach important values and principles for life, and the Allies take full advantage of this opportunity to love and serve these children in a fun, relaxed environment.

"I am so happy to be heading back with 2 teams this May and June. The first part of the trip will be a lot of traveling to visit volunteers, plus we always love to see our little friends. The second trip will be construction on a house project in Orion." said Executive Director Chris Burgin.

Since 2012 Allies has sent hundreds of children from orphanages to camp – many of whom would not have been able to go – because of the support of people like you. If you would like to help send a child to summer camp this year, visit alliesyouth.org/donatenow. Camp costs about $100 per child."
